Dishonored is a critically acclaimed, bestselling, first-person stealth action adventure game developed by Arkane studios and published by Bethesda. It is a very well made game with robust gameplay, smooth interface, and gorgeous graphics depicting an exquisitely crafted steam punk atmosphere emulating Victorian London. You play the role of Corvo Attano, the royal bodyguard of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin, wrongly accused of the murdering the sovereign whom you are duty-bound to protect. While awaiting execution in jail, loyalists help you escape prison and eventually you defeat each of the rebel conspirators responsible for the Empresses demise, by lethal or non-lethal means. At your disposal are gadgets and magical powers, both of which you can upgrade and increase based on your choice of gameplay. Enemies comprise different type of city guards, the overseers (elite guards wielding magic suppression technology), and the zombie-like weepers who are terminal stage victims of the plague. Must buy this for a solid, satisfactory, stealth-action experience.

Game completed. (DLCs in progress)

Game-time 32 hrs for main campaign excluding DLCs.

Purpose – Excitement, Entertainment and Challenge

Gameplay – Solid and flawless. Different ways to achieve objectives. Plenty of choices.

Graphics – Excellent and at par.

Performance – Excellent.

Entertainment – Gorgeous setting, and the bleak atmosphere make the whole experience very entertaining. Plenty of dark humor, poignant music, colorful characters. Most importantly, awesome kill animations.

Plot (if applicable) – Story is a bit cliched (even the surprise elements), but considering everything else, this point can be forgiven easily.

Replay value – Very high. Several gaming styles, like stealth, action, lethal, non-lethal, etc. Also different endings, different outcomes based on actions, the high and low chaos system where more you kill, chaotic the world becomes with more weepers, rats, and overall violence.

Immersion – Not very immersive.

Overall- Very solid and satisfying experience.
